Connection-Belle Fourche Sets New Lottie Mark
Stephen Carson, lead pastor at Connection Church in Belle Fourche, SD, gave his congregation an early Christmas present at their Christmas Eve morning service. Caron announced that the church had given $77,737.91 this year to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, far exceeding their goal of $50,000.
The church has been progressively increasing their gifts to international missions. In 2021 they collected just under $50,000 and just over that amount last year.
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual offering that helps the International Mission Board send missionaries around the world to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Carson and his wife Kaye were IMB missionaries before moving to Belle Fourche to plant Connection Church.
