Say what you want about kids today but know that there’s some awfully good ones out there in Hughes County!

I happened on a group of kids out cleaning up road ditches near Blunt last Wednesday evening. Each passing car received a smile and a wave, even mine!

I stopped long enough to thank them and learned they were with the Blunt Calvary Baptist Church youth group.

A nicer group of kids you’re not likely to find, but they’re out there!
